Harmony Week Celebrations

24 Mar 2021 08:45am

Harmony Week is a time to celebrate the multiculturalism of Australia. Harmony week is about respect and belonging for all Australians regardless of any cultural background.

Why we wear Orange? Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversation. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect.

Please come wearing something orange. For example, orange socks, t-shirt, pants, hair ties, head band or anything else orange.

There will also be lunch-time activities coordinated by the Ministry of Health student leaders. Table tennis, paper scissor rock, walking planks and giant pick up sticks. Students in Years 1-6 are welcome to join in any of these  activities.
