Our program enables staff and students to engage in a wide variety of science activities as well as the use of integrated technologies. We allow for the provision of experiences in science in our purpose designed primary science facility by integrating Technologies, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The school continues to have a strong association with Water Corp, Scitech and Curtin University.
Science aims to ensure that our students develop a curiosity about the world in which they live and are motivated to explore, ask questions and hypothesize about their impact on a changing world. We promote an understanding of scientific inquiry methods, including questioning; planning and conducting experiments and investigations based on ethical principles; collecting and analysing data; evaluating results; and drawing critical, evidence-based conclusions.
